Roderick’s Story
Roderick entered the horse business in 1987, working for Russell Jones at Walnut Green in Pennsylvania. Over the years, he trained under some of the best in the industry, including Fred Seitz at Brookdale Farm and John Stuart at Bluegrass Thoroughbred Services. All this before establishing Kingswood Farm in Kentucky, where he has bred, boarded and sold horses at the highest levels.
A native of Dublin, Ireland, Roderick has made Versailles, Kentucky, his home with his wife Jordan and daughter Olivia.

- Seize the Grey – Purchased for $300,000 → Winner of the 2024 Preakness Stakes (G1), now standing at Gainesway.
- Straight No Chaser – Purchased for $110,000 → Champion Sprinter, Breeders’ Cup Sprint winner, $2.6M earner, standing at WinStar.
- Seismic Beauty – Another successful purchase under MyRacehorse’s program.
- Provocateur – Co-breeder of this multiple stakes winner, now a stallion in New York.
- Rodriguez – Co-breeder of the 2025 Wood Memorial Stakes (G2) winner.
- Mopotism – Consigned the dam of 2024 Santa Anita Derby winner Journalism for $1.05M at Fasig-Tipton.
As head of bloodstock for MyRacehorse from 2021 to 2023, Roderick implemented systems of acquisition and management that helped thousands of fractional owners enjoy the thrill of group ownership at the highest level of the sport.
He is also a founding member of Light Up Racing, an initiative to grow the sport of Thoroughbred racing through greater accessibility and transparency.
